Winter Park, Fla. (October 17, 2006) - The Nova Southeastern University  women's soccer team (10-2-1, 4-2-1 SSC) earned a 2-2 tie in double  overtime at the #25 ranked Rollins College Tars (10-3-3, 3-1-3 SSC), on  Tuesday evening in Sunshine State Conference action.
 The Sharks drew first blood 30th minute, as sophomore forward Hayley  Oligane (New Cumberland, Pa.) received a cross from freshman forward  Kelly Diershow (Schaumburg, Ill.) and slotted the ball past Rollins  'keeper Stephanie Woelfel.     
 NSU maintained their 1-0 advantage until Tars defender Lindsay Taylor  took a feed from midfielder Lindsay Giblin and equalized in the 75th  minute.     
 The Sharks responded just 1:43 later as midfielder Alexis Hernandez  (Fr., Miramar, Fla.) beat Woelfel after a cross from the right side of  the 18-yard box by Shurell Burton (So., Palm Bay, Fla.).     
 With just under six minutes remaining the Tars caught a break when a  cross by midfielder Jeri Ostuw sailed into the back corner of the net,  to knot the game at 2-2.     
 Diershow had the best opportunity for either side in the second OT  period, but her shot glanced off of the cross bar and the game ended in a  draw.     
 NSU outshot Rollins by a 22-20 margin, while both teams attempted seven  corner kicks. Sharks 'keeper Megan Kim (Fr., Valrico, Fla.) made three  saves and Woleful turned away seven shots for Rollins.     
 NSU wraps up its regular season on Saturday evening at 7:00 pm, when  Florida Tech visits the NSU Soccer Complex.
