Winter Park, Fla. (September 16, 2006) - The Nova Southeastern University volleyball team (6-8, 0-2 SSC) fell on the road Saturday evening against the Rollins College Tars (9-2, 2-0 SSC). The Sharks were defeated in four games by scores of 30-28, 27-30, 30-23 and 30-27.

Sophomore Christina Chubb (Oakland Park, Fla.) led the Sharks with 20 kills, while senior right-side hitter Karla Ortiz, (Miami, Fla.) added 14 kills and senior libero Itza Miranda (Toa Baja, Puerto Rico) recorded 24 digs.

NSU returns to action this weekend with three home Sunshine State Conference matches. The Sharks host the #1 ranked University of Tampa Spartans at 7:00 PM on Friday, Saint Leo University at 4:00 PM on Saturday and Eckerd College at 2:00 PM on Sunday afternoon.
