NSU strikers Lorcan Cronin (Sr., Dublin, Ireland) and Anton Siedlitzki (Fr., Munich, Germany) converted penalty kicks as the Nova Southeastern men's soccer team (5-1-0) defeated the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish (4-5-1) on Monday night by a score of 4-0.

After being hauled down in the 6th minute, Cronin, who was named Sunshine State Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week earlier in the day, deposited a penalty kick in the top left corner of the net for an early 1-0 Sharks lead.

The score remained the same until the 50th minute, when Michael Collins (Fr., San Antonio, Texas) registered his first career goal.

Joseph Clancy (Sr., Dublin, Ireland) crossed the ball from the left side of the box to Collins who was heavily defended on the right side. Collins fought through the defenders and chipped the ball into the lower left corner of the net, putting NSU up 2-0.

Eight minutes later, Siedlitzki cashed in on a penalty kick for his third goal of the season.

Corey Sheriff (Fr., Coral Springs, Fla.) also added his first career goal on a shot from 30 yards that looped over Sailfish 'keeper Andrew Gerber.

Gerber made four saves in a losing effort while Jarod Rennick (Jr., Allen, Texas) and Steven Deering (Sr., Highland Village, Texas) combined for NSU's second consecutive shutout.

Daniel Abrahmsohn led PBA with five shots.

NSU will be back in action on Friday, September 22 as they begin a Texas road swing against St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas at 6 p.m. central time.
