Miami Shores, Fla. (September 19, 2007) - NSU forward Lauren Prow (Fr.,  Valparaiso, Ind.) scored the game-winning goal and registered an assist  as the Nova Southeastern Sharks (6-1, 2-0 SSC) defeated the Barry  Buccaneers (3-4, 0-2) by a score of 3-0 on Wednesday evening at  Buccaneer Field. For the Sharks, it was their first-ever win at  Buccaneer Field.
 Prow opened the scoring in the 35th minute, taking a pass sent through  by Natalie Bellini (Jr., Tamarac, Fla.) and slotting it past Bucs'  goalkeeper Kelly Tryson for her sixth goal of the season.    
 With the score 1-0 at the half, NSU held a 15-2 shot advantage over  Barry while the Bucs committed eight fouls to the Sharks' three.    
 The second half saw very little offense until the 86th minute when Noha  Saleh (Fr., Wellington, Fla.) received a crisp through ball from Prow  and, alone in the 18, slipped it past Tryson.    
 19 seconds later, Kelly Diershow (So., Schaumburg, Ill.) scored on a  cross from Shurell Burton (Jr., Palm Bay, Fla.), pushing the Sharks'  lead to 3-0.    
 For the game, NSU outshot Barry 25-5 while the Bucs were called for 14  fouls to NSU's eight.    
 Sarah Glass (So., Melbourne, Fla.) earned her first career shutout for  the Sharks, making two saves while Tryson made four saves in a losing  effort.    
 The Sharks will return to action on Tuesday, September 25 as they travel  to Boca Raton, Fla. to take on the Lynn Fighting Knights at 4pm at  Lynn's McCusker Sports Complex.
