Men’s Soccer Returns Home to Face Eckerd Tritons

Live stats available for fans at home

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern men’s soccer team will look to break a three-game losing streak this Wednesday at home against the Eckerd Tritons at 7 pm.

A lot has changed for the Sharks since their last home game. Their recent road trip did not go according to plan as NSU dropped two games to powerhouse Sunshine State Conference schools in No. 14 Rollins and Tampa. They are winless in conference play and sitting at .500 for the first time all season.

However, the team is still in the hunt for a spot in the SSC Tournament as the Sharks still have four conference games remaining including two at home. The back end of the conference schedule starts with the Tritons, a team that NSU has a 10-2 all time record against. Despite the 5-5 record, the Tritons have been a tough out all season and have a win against No. 9 Tampa.

Both teams will be coming off back-to-back losses by multiple goals. Over the last two games, Eckerd has allowed a total of six goals against No. 10 Rollins and Lynn. With conference action far from finished, the winner of Wednesday night’s game will get a boost as they try to climb back up the SSC standings.

Kickoff is slated for 7 pm at the NSU Soccer Complex, fans at home can follow the Sharks live HERE.
