FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Nova Southeastern senior goalkeeper Chrissy Hy (Weston, Fla.) finished her collegiate career on a strong note as she picked up 2011 All-Sunshine State Conference Tournament honors, as announced by the conference office this week.

Hy started in the Sharks’ final match of the season in the first round of the conference tournament against No. 24 Florida Tech. Despite losing, 1-0, she only allowed one goal and collected seven saves, three shy of her career high.

On the season, Hy started in nine matches and held a 5-3-0 record. She collected a team-high 32 saves and recorded a shutout in the Sharks’ 1-0 victory against No. 13 Rollins.
