FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.
– The Nova Southeastern men’s and women’s soccer teams travel to Winter Park, Fla. to take on SSC opponent Rollins, Wednesday, Oct, 3. The men are set to kick off at 5 p.m., while the women play the night cap at 7:30 p.m.

The men are coming into this match on a three-game winning streak with their most recent win over the No. 1 team in the nation, Lynn, 1-0, on Saturday Sept. 29.  Stefano Fanfoni (Fr., Cremona, Italy) scored the game-winning goal for the Sharks in the 56th minute, securing the upset.

The Sharks have not had too much success against the Tars, as they are 4-9-0 including losing the last three matches against them. However, Rollins comes into this match without a conference win which the Sharks will look to exploit.

The NSU women’s team is coming into this match with a 2-4-1, 1-2-0 SSC record, losing the last two matches to Florida Southern, 2-1, and Lynn, 1-0. Rollins is coming into this match on a three-match winning streak, beating Florida Southern, Florida Tech and Tampa, 1-0 in each match.

The women historically have had trouble with the Tars, coming into this match with a 2-9-4 record against Rollins. However, in two of the last three seasons, these matches have ended in a draw, both of which were against top-10 ranked Rollin teams.
