FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern men’s soccer team will travel to Saint Leo Saturday, Oct. 27 at 7:30 p.m., for its final conference match of the season.
With a win the Sharks will clinch the sixth seed in the Sunshine State Conference tournament. With a tie or a loss, the Sharks season will come to an end and St. Leo will clinch the final spot in the tournament.
This game was initially set to be played on Oct. 6th, however, due to inclement weather this match sets up to be the biggest for either team this year.
The Sharks (6-8-1, 4-5-1 SSC) are coming into this match losing five out of its last six matches. St. Leo (6-8-0, 3-4-0 SSC) is entering Saturdays match dropping its last four.
NSU holds an 8-6-2 record all-time over the Lions including wins in two of the previous three matches between the teams.
