Volleyball Hits the Road to Battle Lynn in SSC Play

Sharks fell to the Fighting Knights 0-3 earlier in the season.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Nova Southeastern women’s volleyball team (4-21, 1-7 SSC) hit the road Wednesday, Oct. 31 to take on the Lynn Fighting Knights (13-9, 3-7 SSC) in Sunshine State Conference action, which is set for a 7 p.m. start.

The Sharks are coming off a tough loss this past weekend on the road to Florida Tech, dropping three very close sets.

NSU tangled with Lynn earlier in the season at home, opening up their SSC play but proved to be bittersweet, falling in three straight sets. The Sharks will look to avenge their loss on the road.

In their last encounter NSU’s Samantha High (Jr., Naples, Fla.) was the Sharks’ top hitter on the night recording a blistering .500 hitting percentage on 10 attempts. Sarah Shifflett (So., Boynton Beach, Fla.) cover the court defensively collecting a match-high 22 digs, while Jordan Pappas came off the bench and led the team in assists.
