FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Department of Athletics will celebrate National Student-Athlete Day on Wednesday, April 17 at the softball doubleheader against Palm Beach Atlantic.
The fun will begin at 3:45 p.m., with the student-athlete scavenger hunt. The scavenger hunt will end at 5 p.m., just before first pitch is thrown at the AD Griffin Sports Complex. The maximum amount of student-athletes on one team is 10, and no team can have more than two student-athletes from the same sports team.
Free food will be offered, alongside several prizes distributed by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Student-athletes with a GPA above a 3.25 will be honored with the official NCAA provided certificate.
All student-athletes from the 2012-13 year are invited to attend, including those that have exhausted their eligibility this year.
