FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The 2013 Nova Southeastern volleyball season gets underway this weekend as the team hosts the seventh annual Shark Classic at the NSU Arena in the Don Taft University Center.
The two-day event begins this Friday, September 6, and features eight teams competing in 16 matches. There will be eight matches on each day, taking place on both the main court and the south court of the arena.
Besides the Sharks, fellow Sunshine State Conference schools Lynn and Rollins will also be taking part. The other visiting teams are Barton, Findlay, Pfeiffer, Sioux Falls and Virginia State.
Each team will have four matches on tap throughout the weekend. All match times and locations can be found at the

The Sharks' four matches will all take place on the main court:
Friday vs. Virginia State, 11:30 a.m.
Friday vs. Barton, 7:00 p.m.
Saturday vs. Findlay, 11:30 a.m.
Saturday vs. Pfeiffer, 4:30 p.m.
