FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern University women's soccer team will face Lynn for the first of two times in the next six days, in a home match on Wednesday that will serve as both Shark Night and "Think Pink."

The evening will start at 5 p.m. with a tailgate party outside of Commons hall. The Finatics will serve as hosts for the event and El Agave Azul will be on hand to give out free food. In addition, Alpha Kappa Alpha will also be at the tailgate passing out free pink lemonade.

In Think Pink NSU tradition, the athletic department will be passing out free pink T-shirts to raise awareness for the fight against breast cancer. At halftime, NSU will be giving away a gift card to Best Buy in the Tower Shops plaza.

The Sharks are 4-6-0 overall and 1-5-0 in SSC play, with just Wednesday's 6 p.m. matchup and Saturday's Senior Night against Eckerd remaining in-conference. The team dropped their road tilt over the weekend to Tampa, 5-1. Lynn's last match was a week ago, an 8-0 loss at the hands of Florida Tech. The Fighting Knights are also 1-5 in-conference and are 4-8 overall.

NSU was supposed to have faced the Fighting Knights earlier in a non-conference road contest, but it was postponed, and will be made up next Tuesday. Lynn leads the all-time series 12-8-2, but the Sharks took a win and a tie against their border rivals last season. Last time against this team at the NSU Soccer Complex, behind a hat trick from Malin Broberg, NSU won 5-1 on Sept. 18, 2013.
