Men’s Soccer Returns Home For Think Pink Night Against Florida Tech

Sharks face Panthers Wednesday at 7 p.m.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern University men's soccer team (5-5-0, 1-3-0 SSC) returns home from a lengthy road trip to face the Florida Tech Panthers (3-3-1, 1-2-1 SSC) Wednesday at 7 p.m.

The critical match will also serve as the men's soccer team's Think Pink event. Throughout October, NSU has been partnering with Memorial Cancer Institute and Memorial Breast Care Services for Cancer Awareness month. The annual "Think Pink" night for men's soccer at the NSU Soccer Complex on Wednesday will include complimentary t-shirts for the first 200 fans in attendance and special pink promos throughout the night. For more information, please contact Kim Carbo at (954) 262-8254 or email carbo@nova.edu.

NSU enters the match looking to put the brakes on a three-match skid, falling recently to the defending NCAA National Champions, Lynn, No. 5 Palm Beach Atlantic and Saint Leo in a 1-0 defeat due to a goal in the 80th minute. Despite the losses, NSU returns to the NSU Soccer Complex, where they are 3-0 with a 7-1 goal differential.

Like the Sharks, the Panthers are looking to halt a three-match losing streak. Florida Tech also dropped matches against Lynn and PBA after taking a 4-3 loss on the road against Rollins. Currently, the Panthers sit at four points while the Sharks hold three. Both teams sit just outside the postseason tournament bubble, but due to great parity in the league this season, are only a pair of wins shy of second place.
