HOW IT HAPPENED:

ST QUARTER | Tied 2-2 in the first, the Mocs took off on a 7-0 to earn a 9-2 lead. A layup by Mary Hirt at the 3:59 mark brought the Sharks within three, 13-10, but that would be the closest NSU would get at the Mocs went on to lead the Sharks by six, 21-15, heading into the second quarter.

ND QUARTER | The Moccasins pushed offensively in the second, taking as much as a 14-point lead at the end of the frame. A layup by Taylor Smith at the 5:20 mark brought NSU within six, 31-25, but a 14-6 run by FSC was too much for the Sharks are the Mocs took their 45-31 into the break.

RD QUARTER | Coming back from halftime, the Sharks were down by 10 at the 6:41 mark before a 6-1 run, capped by a trey by Alison Hughes, cut the Mocs' lead to just five with 5:01 remaining. Florida Southern continued to stay out in front, however, but another three by Hughes kept NSU within six with only 10 minutes remaining.

TH QUARTER | A Shark comeback was quickly diminished as the Mocs jumped out to a 13-point lead just 1:36 into the quarter. Florida Southern continued to hold their double-digit lead throughout the rest of the game, ending up on top, 94-76.
