SAINT LEO, Fla. – It took the Nova Southeastern women's soccer team just 24 minutes to tally its winning two goals over the host Saint Leo Lions on Saturday evening. The Sharks took advantage of an own goal by the Lions before
Emma Heikkila netted the second goal of the night, recording NSU's fourth shutout of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Just 12:24 into the game, the Sharks grabbed a 1-0 advantage as the Lions put an own goal into their net.
- A little over 10 minutes later, Nova Southeastern recorded their final tally as Emma Heikkila drilled the ball from the top of the box past the Lions' keeper.
- Comfortably in front, head coach John Constable was able to utilize his bench for much of the second half, preserving some legs with the Sharks heading into the final week of the regular season.
STATS OF THE NIGHT:
- Despite the final score, the Sharks were outshot 18-12 and 7-5 in shots on goal.
- Keeper Natalie Robayna was a force to reckon with in goal, as she made seven saves to preserve the shutout.
