MELBOURNE, Fla. – For the second time in less than a month, Nova Southeastern goalkeeper has been recognized as the Sunshine State Conference Defensive Player of the Week, announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
Facing one of the league's better offenses, Robayna and the Sharks held Eckerd scoreless en route to a decisive 2-0 win this past Saturday. The freshman recorded five saves in her third shutout in SSC play, and now has Nova Southeastern one win away from locking up the No. 2 seed in the SSC Tournament.
