HOW IT HAPPENED:
1ST QUARTER | Both teams got off to rough starts offensively, as the Sharks committed four turnovers over the first four-plus minutes and the Tritons had three of their own, both going 1-of-4 from the field. The Sharks grabbed a 5-3 lead midway through the quarter on a

2ND QUARTER | The Tritons took their largest lead of the half, 30-12, three minutes in, but a 16-4 Sharks run, capitalized by a pair of 3's by
Mikayla Thompson, brought the deficit back down to single-digits. Eckerd hit a pair of layups in the final 40 seconds, and the Sharks trailed by 10 at halftime, 38-28.
3RD QUARTER | The Sharks made just two field goals in the quarter, a
Mary Hirt 3-pointer a minute and a half in to get the 2
nd-half scoring started and another by
Hailey Conley nearly five minutes later to end a streak of 11 straight Tritons points. The Tritons ended the quarter with 10 more in a row to go into the final frame up 59-34.
4TH QUARTER | Eckerd added seven more onto their run from the end of the previous quarter and took their largest lead of the game up to that point, 70-36, just after the midway point of the period.
