HOW IT HAPPENED:

ST QUARTER | The Sharks were hot coming out of the gates in the first, quickly taking a 10-2 lead over the Eagles as Hughes and Mikayla Thompson both connected on 3-pointers. A layup by ERAU's Tara Fields with 1:13 on the clock brought the Eagles within five, 16-11, but that would be as they would get throughout the remainder of the game.

ND QUARTER | The Sharks took off on another run, this time 9-1, over the first five minutes of the frame to take a double-digit lead, 25-12. The Eagles only managed to tally six points in the second quarter on 18.2 percent shooting from the field, as NSU took a commanding 33-17 lead into halftime.

RD QUARTER | A 7-4 run by Embry-Riddle cut NSU's lead to 10 points, 37-27, but multiple layups by Cheray Saunders and Christen Prasse pushed the Sharks' lead back into the teens. With 32 seconds left in the quarter, Saunders gave the Sharks its largest lead yet, 45-27.

TH QUARTER | The fourth was the highest scoring quarter for both teams, and also saw the Sharks grab their largest lead of the game, 56-37, with a trey by Hughes at the 6:55 mark. ERAU responded with an 8-0 run, but another 3-pointer by Hughes halted the Eagles' scoring. Hughes wasn't done draining threes, however, sinking her final one with 55 seconds left.
