From Coach Doug Neagle
"Good effort today and it was great for Bella and Ivana to get in the singles lineup," Neagle said. "That's Ivana's first collegiate singles win and I'm very happy for her. We are back at it early against a very tough West Alabama team that beat West Florida here last weekend."
Up Next: The West Alabama Tigers (3-3) and the Sharks will meet Saturday morning at the Carson Tennis Complex at 8:30 a.m. CST (9:30 a.m. EST). The match wraps a four-match week in Pensacola, but doesn't send the Sharks home. En route back to Fort Lauderdale, NSU will square off with No. 25 Wayne State at the USTA National Campus in Lake Nona on Monday.
