HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Scoreless through the opening 9:22, Christophe kick-started the flurry of goals, tucking a shot inside the right post on a feed from Chomko to give the Sharks a 1-0 lead.
- Just 12:36 later and Christophe had already notched a hat trick, volleying a cross from Dejah Holman, the first of three assists for the sophomore.
- Goals by Chomko and Christophe in a span of 2:28 extended the advantage to 7-0 before Brianna King pushed the lead to 8-0 with a rocket from 30 yards out in the 29th minute.
- Christophe capped her night with her fifth and final goal in the 33rd minute, leaving way for Bostick, who tacked on two goals in the later portion of the first half to send Nova Southeastern into the break up 11-0.
- Brandee Permenter and Kristina Maribona collected their first career goals to continue the dominant effort at the start of the second half.
- Morgan Masters then took advantage of a defensive breakdown by the Lions' defense, notching her first goal of the season, with Nicole Staley eventually closing the scoring with the match's final goal at the 68-minute mark.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- Through just two matches this season, the Sharks have already had 12 different players record at least one goal.
- Nova Southeastern's 15 goals set a new program mark for a single game, breaking the previous record of 11 scored against Northwood back on Sept. 28, 1998.
- Christophe's five-goal effort snapped a record that stood for nearly 19 years.
- Holman's three assists in the win equaled a single-game record held by five others.
STATS OF THE NIGHT:
- Nova Southeastern outshot Florida Memorial by a whopping 54-3 margin, including 26-3 in shots on goal.
- Twenty-four players logged 20-plus minutes of game action in the match.
- Starting goalkeeper Shannon Hearty has yet to allow a goal in her first 83:40 played this season.
