HOW IT HAPPENED
- Henrik Berg was aggressive for NSU, trying to get the Sharks on the board with three consecutive shots on goal near the 30-minute mark.
- Nova Southeastern was able to find the back of the net, as Nick Brisevac beat the Shaw keeper following an assist from Manu Schwarz.
- NSU dominated the first 45-minutes, outshooting the Bears 10-1.
- Shaw's lone opportunity on goal came in the 40th minute, but was turned away by Shark Keeper, Alberto Ciroi.
- Matty Cornish was fouled inside the box, leading to a penalty kick in the 77th minute of the match. Cornish finished the opportunity, giving NSU a 2-0 advantage.
- The Sharks defense stifeld the Bears for the remainder of the game, keeping SU off the scoreboard, as Nova Southeastern earned its third shutout victory of the season.
