MIAMI SHORES, Fla. - The No. 19 Nova Southeastern Volleyball team bounced back and earned a four-set victory on the road over Barry on Friday evening. The Sharks won the first set, dropped the second and responded with victories in both the third and fourth sets to win the match.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Marianna Fiocco led the offensive charge to open the match, recording two kills in the first four points for NSU, as the Sharks took a 4-0 lead.
- Barry cut the Sharks lead to 8-7 before a brief 3-0 run by Nova Southeastern extended the lead to 11-7.
- Elizabeth Price tallied a kill, forcing BU to use a timeout. Following the break, the Sharks added two more points, putting the score at 18-12.
- Madison Cook added a kill, and Cambry Pope recorded a service ace to claim the first set victory for NSU, 25-18.
- No. 19 Nova Southeastern's offense got off to another fast start in the second set, lead 5-0, as Pope added a kill and another service ace.
- The Buccaneers tied the set 8-8.
- Alex Psoma and Julia Bernardes paired to recorded back-to-back kills, extending the NSU advantage to 12-9.
- A 4-0 rally by Barry gave them a 15-13 lead, as Head Coach Brian Rosen called a timeout.
- NSU quickly responded, as Brittany Landrum tied the set 15-15 with a kill of her own.
- Barry closed out the second set by outscoring the Sharks 10-3, taking a 25-18 victory of their own.
- BU opened the third set with a 6-4 advantage over the Sharks before NSU rallied for four-straight points, capitalizing on three Buccaneer errors.
- Bernardes and Price added back-to-back kills, as NSU took an 18-16 advantage late in the third set.
- A 3-0 run, led by Fiocco gave the Sharks momentum as Nova Southeastern moved back in front of BU with a 25-21 third set win.
- NSU seized momentum to begin the fourth set, taking a 6-1 lead with Fiocco adding three more kills to her total.
- BU rallied to tie the set 10-10, but NSU responded by taking 6-of-8 points to lead 16-12 after another Pope service ace.
- Nova Southeastern closed the fourth set, and the match on a 15-5 run, winning the final three points on Barry errors.
