FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Nova Southeastern Sharks Women's Basketball defeated the Bluebears from Livingstone (N.C.) on Friday afternoon winning 55-48 from the Rick Case Arena. Sh'naya Anderson scored a team-high 16-points on 7-11 shooting off the bench to lead NSU to the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
1ST QUARTER – Makenna Drabick and McKenah Peters notched the first points of the game for NSU, tying the game at 4-4. An 8-0 run by the Sharks, capped off by an Anderson jumper, gave Nova Southeastern a 12-8 lead with 3:15 remaining in the first quarter. NSU closed out the first quarter with a 15-10 advantage.
2ND QUARTER – Nova Southeastern began the second quarter on a 7-0 run, extending the lead to 22-10. Livingstone closed out the half on a 10-2 rally, as the teams went into the break with NSU leading 24-20.
3RD QUARTER – Peters put the Sharks in front 28-22 with a lay-up early in the third quarter. Midway through the third, Anderson made a lay-up, putting the score at 31-25. That bucket by Anderson started a run of six consecutive points for the Forward, as NSU led 35-27.
4TH QUARTER – The Bluebears tied the game at 36-36 with a three-pointer. Shepherd reclaimed the lead for NSU by making a lay-up. Keanna Williams started a game-winning 7-0 run for the Sharks at the two-minute mark. India Shepherd sealed the win with a three-pointer, putting NSU in front 51-44 with less than a minute remaining.
