Sharks, Eagles end in Draw

DAYTONA BEACH, FLA – It was a defensive battle in Daytona Beach tonight, as both offenses attempted to get something going, but both defenses were lockdown. The Nova Southeastern Sharks and the Embry-Riddle Eagles end this SSC showdown in a 0-0 draw.

HOW IT HAPPENED

· The Sharks started this match firing off a plethora of shots from Lily Truong, Luana Grabias, and Louise Matsgard, but they were all blocked by Eagle defenders.

· In the 33rd minute, Stefane Rosa came up with two big saves to keep the match knotted at 0-0.

· In the 37th minute, both Dani Correa and Chama Silva fired shots on goal, but were swiped away by the Eagles' goalkeeper.

· In the 74th minute, Stefane Rosa faced a lot of action, but was able to keep the Eagles out of the goal, holding the match at 0.

· In the closing minutes of the match, Dejah Holman and Luana Grabias attempted to get some offense for the Sharks, but their chances were denied by the Eagles' goalkeeper.

· Stefane Rosa knocked away the five shot-on-goal attempts from the Eagles throughout the match, leaving this match in a draw.
