Late Goals by Truong, Correa Lead NSU to Win

FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA- In a game that started with a downpour, Lily Truong and Dani Correa scored two big goals to propel the Sharks to victory. The Nova Southeastern Sharks take down Flagler 2-0 in tonight's matchup.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • With the downpour occurring on the field, both teams started the game off timid.
  • Defensively both teams were impressive, not allowing a single point in the first half.
  • As the second half progressed, the Sharks began their offensive attack, firing quality looks at the goal that was swatted away by the Flagler goalkeeper.
  • Stefane Rosa was also making her presence felt on the defensive side of the ball, knocking away a plethora of Saints shots on goal.
  • In the 81st minute, Truong broke the stalemate, scoring the first goal for the Sharks, to give them a 1-0 lead.
  • A few minutes later, Correa wanted to be a part of the action. Sneaking a goal into to back of the net, increasing the Shark lead to 2-0 and ultimately putting the game away for NSU.
