MIAMI SHORES, FLA. – After battling for 90 minutes, the Sharks' Sunshine State Conference Tournament run has come to a close. Fifth-seeded Nova Southeastern falls to first-seeded Barry 2-0 on Thursday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
· Defenses for both sides were the highlight in the beginning portion of the first half, with neither offense getting a shot-on-goal through the first 25 minutes.
· In the 26th minute, the Buccaneers broke the tie after sneaking one by Eduardo D'Avino. Barry leads 1-0.
· Minutes later in the 29th minute, the Buccaneers added onto their lead with another goal. Barry takes a 2-0 lead with 16 minutes left in the first half.
· In the 35th minute, the Sharks' offense saw an opportunity with Aleks Berg, Alberto Rentero, and Milos Christoforou firing off shots, but none were able to get into the back of the net.
· The Sharks opened the second half once again looking for a chance to score, but Aleks Berg and Milos Christoforou were once again denied.
· In the 62nd minute, Eduardo D'Avino came up big with two saves.
· In the closing minutes, the Sharks' offense had one last push, but Michael Lawrence, Nick Brisevac, and Milos Christoforou were unable to get one by the Barry's goalkeeper.
