WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The third-ranked Nova Southeastern Men's Basketball team improved to 8-0 on the season with a 100-78 victory over Palm Beach Atlantic on Saturday.
RJ Sunahara scored a game-high 19 points, while grabbing 14 rebounds, for his second double-double of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half – Nova Southeastern and Palm Beach Atlantic opened the game by trading baskets back-and-forth until a dunk from
Jonathan Pierre put NSU in front 14-8. However, PBA was able to go on an 8-2 run, tying the contest at 16-16. The Sharks were able to distance themselves a bit, when
Kobe Rodgers knocked down a three-pointer to put NSU ahead 25-20. Later in the half,
Mike Moore added a three-point make to push the Sharks lead to 37-25 over the Sailfish. NSU's lead got to as high as 17 in the first half and the Sharks went into the halftime break leading 51-38.
Second Half –
Will Yoakum,
Dallas Graziani, and Rodgers each hit a three-pointer for the Sharks in the opening minutes of the second half. Later on, a steal from Graziani set up a fastbreak dunk for Pierre, as the Sharks lead 64-43. With less than eight minutes left in the game, Graziani added another steal and assisted a fast break dunk for Sunahara, pushing the NSU lead to 89-62. Yoakum knocked down another three-pointer, as the Sharks were ahead 97-64 with around five minutes remaining. NSU earned its eighth win of the season, defeating PBA 100-78 in Sunshine State Conference action.
