Sharks Close Regular Season with 4-1 Defeat of No. 8 Hawaii Pacific

No. 2 NSU nets eighth win over a ranked opponent on Friday

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – Despite dropping the initial doubles point, the No. 2 Nova Southeastern women's tennis team responded in a big way en route to an eventual 4-1 victory over No. 8 Hawaii Pacific in its regular-season finale Friday afternoon at Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs, Fla. With the win, the Sharks conclude regular-season play with a record of 19-2.

NEAGLE'S NOTES:
"We knew this was going to be a tough battle, and our ladies responded so well after losing the doubles point," said NSU head coach Doug Neagle. "This was a very well-coached team that showed great sportsmanship all around. We are looking forward to a weekend off and then it's back to work Monday to prepare for the Sunshine State Conference Championships next weekend."
