FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The No. 2 Nova Southeastern women's tennis team began its NCAA Tournament run on Friday morning, taking quick care of Benedict with a 4-0 victory in the first round from the NSU Tennis Complex.

DOUBLES COMPETITION 

• Karolina Snita and Zala Dovnik earned the Sharks the doubles point with a 6-0 win over Patricia Wamba and Vincent Kennedy. 

SINGLES ACTION 

• Dovnik earned her second victory of the morning, defeating Esperance Follykoue 6-1, 6-0. 

• Nika Kozar sealed the first-round win for Nova Southeastern with a 6-0, 6-0 shutout of Kennedy Vincnet.  

STATS OF THE MATCH 

• At the time the match finalized at 4-0, Nova Southeastern held leads on the remaining courts, as Diane Follin-Arbelet led 6-0, 5-0, Chantal Nosievici was ahead 6-0, 4-0, and Kashmira Manohar led 6-0, 5-0.
