FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The second-ranked Nova Southeastern Women's Tennis Team began their 2022-23 season this morning from the NSU Tennis Complex at Rolling Hills, hosting NAIA #2 Keiser, NJCAA #2 Hillsborough, and No. 10 Lynn, in the Shark Invitational.
- In the Flight A singles grouping, reigning Sunshine State Conference Player of the Year, Julie Razafindranaly defeated Ita Habekovic (7-5, 4(10) – 6 (8)).
- Karolina Snita and Fatima Bizhukova defeated Gomez and Habekovic in doubles action to earn the win for the Sharks.
- Razafindranaly and Eva Goncharov earned a 7-5 victory over Schieroni and Younes. The duo completed their day 2-0 in doubles action, adding a 6-4 win over Andresen and Gamretkaia.
- Kashmira Manohar and Kayla Solagnier split their doubles competitions, earning a 6-2 win over Cabrer-Pericas and Martinez-Azcarraga but were defeated 3-6 by Perez-Flores and Araya.
- Bizhukova lost in singles action to Esmee Andresen (6-3, 3[10] – 6 [12]).
- Monohar was defeated by Rocio Martinez-Azcarraga (4-6, 6[8] – 4 [10])
- Solagnier dropped her singles match to Florencia Araya (6-4, 3[7] – 6 [10).
