- Stefane Rosa was lockdown in goal right out the gate, knocking away three goal attempts from the Eagles, including a penalty kick save.
- In the 24th minute, after being setup by Louise Matsgard and Chama Silva, Jordyn Pitter was able to find the back for the first time this season, giving the Sharks a 1-0 lead.
- The Eagles tried to fire in a few more shots before half but Rosa swiped them away.
- At the start of the second half, the Sharks offense went on the attack, attempting 4 shots, but none were able to sneak by the Eagles goalkeeper.
- In the 72nd minute, the Eagles were able to sneak one past Rosa, tying the match at 1-1.
- The Sharks offense tried to make up for the allowed goal, but both of Luana Grabias's shot attempts were wide of the net.
