Men's Soccer Honors Senior Class

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Men's Soccer team hosted their 2023 Senior Day on Saturday evening, hosting Tampa at the NSU Soccer Stadium. NSU Athletics honored ten seniors, Sam Allardyce, Zyan Andrade, Max Bolton, Eduardo D'Avino, Fernando Herrera, Gabriel Pachas, Tobias Pellio, Harvey Read, Michael Steckmest, Mattia Vezzoni.

How it Happened

  • The Spartans struck first in the third minute to take the early 1-0 lead.
  • Tampa would score again seven minutes later, extending their lead to 2-0.
  • In the closing minutes of the match the Spartans tacked on another goal.

Despite the late offensive push by NSU, the Sharks were unable to overcome the deficit, dropping tonight's SSC matchup 3-0 against the Tampa Spartans.

Nova Southeastern is back in action on Wednesday, November 1st at 7:00 PM to close out the regular season against Lynn in Boca Raton, Fla.
