FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Sharks Volleyball was defeated in four-sets by the Moccasins of Florida Southern in Sunshine State Conference action on Friday evening from the Rick Case Arena.

• The Sharks and Mocs traded points back-and-forth in the match's opening set, as the score sat at 6-5 in favor of Florida Southern, following a kill from Brittany Landrum.
• Trailing 10-5, Landrum sparked a 3-0 rally by Nova Southeastern to cut the Florida Southern lead to 10-8.
• Nadia Lindner recorded two consecutive kills for the Sharks, leading a 4-0 rally, putting the score at 13-12.
• Maddy Hooper and Lindner combined for a block, tying the set at 14-14.
• Florida Southern closed out the set by a score of 25-19.
• Taylor Stockman and Kate Mihacevich each tallied a kill for the Sharks, putting the score at 6-5 in the second set with the Mocs holding the lead.
• Florida Southern went on a 6-1 run, extending their advantage to 14-7.
• FSC closed out the second set by a score of 25-16.
• The Sharks jumped out to an early 6-0 lead in the third set, as Taylor Stockman recorded a pair of kills, while Madison Cook recorded a service ace and Oliva Aniol and Lindner notched a block.
• Mihacevich led a 4-0 rally by the Sharks, tallying a kill and a service ace, in addition to a block from Landrum and Cook, as NSU took a 14-5 lead over Florida Southern.
• Landrum tallied three-points as part of a 4-0 run by the Sharks, recording two consecutive kills and a block, putting Nova Southeastern ahead 23-12.
• Mihacevich sealed the set win for the Sharks with a service ace, giving NSU a 25-16 third set win.
• Early in the fourth set, Stockman put Nova Southeastern ahead 4-3 with a service ace.
• Lindner led a 4-0 rally by NSU, recording a kill and back-to-back service aces, before Stockman capped the run and gave Nova Southeastern a 13-12 advantage.
• Landrum later extended the Sharks lead to 17-14 with a kill.
• Both Florida Southern and Nova Southeastern battled back-and-forth, as the fourth set was tied at 22-22.
• FSC recorded two straight points, as the Sharks faced match point, trailing 24-22.
• Mihacevich and Stockman each recorded a kill, tying the set at 24-24.
• Florida Southern took the fourth set 26-24, as the Sharks dropped the match.

Head Coach Kacie Ehinger – " I thought our passers put us in a great position tonight but we just didn't execute well offensively and struggled to contain their pin's production. Nadia Lindner and Kate Mihacevich did a great job facing a solid double block and Olivia Aniol came and provided an offensive threat. Nova Southeastern returns to action against Tampa on Saturday, November 4^th, from the Rick Case Arena. First serve is set for 4 p.m.
