BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Nova Southeastern men's soccer team advanced to the SSC Semifinals after a thriller at the Bobby Campbell Stadium. The Sharks took down the fourth-seeded Lynn Fighting Knights 5-3 in penalty kicks.

In the 51st minute, Ade Olumyiwa scored his first goal of the season off a great setup from Zyan Andrade.

The Fighting Knights would answer with the equalizing goal in the 67th minute, tying the match at one.

Both teams battled until the end of regulation, but the score remained tied, leading to overtime.

Despite the extra 20 minutes, neither team could get the edge, bringing the match to a penalty kick shootout to determine a winner.

Andrade got the Sharks off to a hot start, knocking in the first penalty kick for NSU.

Both teams would trade makes until Eduardo D'Avino swiped away the Fighting Knights third attempt.

Olumyiwa and Noah Holtschoppen secured the Sharks victory with back-to-back successful penalty kick attempts.
