MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference announced the Players of the Week for the week of December 11 – December 19, on Wednesday afternoon. Nova Southeastern Sharks student-athlete Rafaela Raurich (Women's Swimming) earned honors following her performances this past week.    

Raurich gathers Swimmer of the Week following four wins in a dual meet against Tampa. The Brazilian's top performance came with a victory in the 200 Fly (1:58.12), where she set the NSU program record and bested the NCAA "A" Qualifying Mark. Additionally, Raurich was victorious in the 100 Free (51.57), 200 Free (1:51.43), and 100 Fly (55.19), surpassing the NCAA D2 "B" Standard in all three events.
