First half – Stupp got the action started with a layup, shortly after Zeyno Seren knocked down a jumper to give the Sharks an early 4-0 lead. Both teams continued to trade baskets throughout the rest of the quarter, with the Sailfish holding a 16-15 lead heading into the second quarter. PBA scored the first basket of the quarter before Kyarrah Grant came down in the ensuing possession and drew a foul, leading to two made free throws. With just under two minutes remaining in the quarter, baskets from Seren and Jess Moors gave the Sharks a 37-32 lead. Scales would then close the quarter with two made free throws, giving NSU a five-point advantage heading into the break.
Second half – The Sharks came out aggressive in the second half, going on a 12-0 run featuring baskets from Scales, Ellis, Moors, and Kailyn Terrell. Midway through the quarter, a jump shot from Suzan Kinran extended the Sharks lead to 53-36, their biggest lead of the game. A late push from PBA cut the Sharks lead to 10 as they headed to the final frame. The Sailfish picked up where they left off, bringing their deficit to five with 5:53 remaining in the game. A quick 10-0 run from the Sharks would stop PBA's comeback and ultimately seal the 75-62 victory for Nova Southeastern.

Alana Ellis: 15 points, three rebounds
Aubrey Stupp: 10 points, six rebounds

Head Coach LeAnn Freeland-Curry: It was a great team effort today. Even though our shots didn't fall, we were still able to put up 75 points. We took care of the ball well and got to the free throw line. Our defensive pressure gave us extra possessions which we needed to seal the win.
Nova Southeastern will return to the Shark Tank to take on the University of Mount Olive on Wednesday, Dec. 13, at 5:30 p.m. EST.
