MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – The sixth-ranked Nova Southeastern Men's Golf team played their second round at the Sunshine State Conference tournament on Monday afternoon. A strong showing from Nova Southeastern in the second round (-12) puts NSU in third-place. Michael Hay continues to lead the Sharks and sits in a tie for second place at (-6).

Mike Hay (-6) dominated round two, shooting -4 on the front nine and par on the back nine. After shooting -4 in the second round, the senior sits tied for second place in the SSC Tournament.
Will O'Neill (T-7th) was consistent in the second round, recording an eagle and three birdies but also a pair of bogeys. At the conclusion of the day, O'Neill finished with a score of -4, tied for 7th place.
Joseba Torres (-2) had a perfect second round, shooting par or better in all 18 holes. After the dominant round two, the junior is tied for 11th place with a score of -2 in the tournament.
Josep Serra (T-29th) started strong on the front nine, picking up a pair of birdies in the first five holes. Two bogeys and a double bogey in the second round set the sophomore back, but Serra finished the day with a score of +4, tied for 29th place.
Daniel Celestino (+5) shot par or better on 15 of the 18 holes in the second round. After two rounds, the senior is tied for 35th place with a score of +5.

The Sharks will return to the course on Tuesday, April 25, competing in the final round of the Sunshine State Conference tournament.
