FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The NCAA South/Southeast Regional Tournament is set to tee off from the Grande Oaks Golf Club on Thursday morning. The sixth-ranked Nova Southeastern Sharks host a loaded field, featuring some of the top-ranked competition in NCAA Division II.
"Nova Southeastern is honored to host the NCAA South Region Tournament from the Grande Oaks Golf Club. The course is in terrific condition and will be a test for the loaded field," said Nova Southeastern Men's Golf Coach, Joey Marino. "Our program is ready to compete in the South Region Tournament and hopeful for a trip to the NCAA National Championship."
The NCAA South/Southeast Regional includes programs from the Sunshine State Conference, Gulf South Conference, Peach Belt Conference and Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Joining the Sharks in the tournament are – No. 1 Anderson, No. 2 Barry, No. 3 West Florida, No. 4 Lee, No. 5 North Georgia, No. 8 Georgia Southwestern, No. 12 Clayton State, No. 14 Lincoln Memorial, No. 16 Tampa, No. 20 Carson-Newman, No. 21 Barton, No. 22 Limestone, No. 23 Lander, No. 25 Saint Leo, South Carolina-Aiken, Shorter, Lynn, Florida Southern and Spring Hill.
