Hickory, N.C. - The Nova Southeastern men's soccer team won their second consecutive match, taking down Lenoir-Rhyne in the Wednesday night showdown. NSU was led by Kevin Rubaszewski, who scored the lone goal of the match, securing the 1-0 victory for Nova Southeastern.

Rubaszewski got the action started in the 18th minute, striking a goal into the back of the net off of an assist from Liam Healey, giving NSU the early 1-0 lead.

Zyan Andrade attempted to extend the Sharks lead with a shot attempt towards the of the half but was off target, keeping the score at 1-0.

NSU stayed aggressive defensively in the second half, allowing only one shot on goal throughout the half.

Eduardo D'Avino continued his stellar play in the net, recording two saves and his second consecutive shutout.
Head Coach Matt Watts - I thought we were brilliant in the first half on the ball and created lots of chances. We should have been up a couple of goals at halftime. Nonetheless, we were up against it in the second half, and we showed great character to come to a tough place and get a win. I am really proud of the boys. On to the next.
