HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Nova Southeastern women's soccer team took down Alabama-Huntsville on the road in a Friday night showdown. Maja Henriksson scored two goals, while Dani Correa and Sofia Suarez scored one goal each.

Three minutes into the match, Suarez set up Henriksson with a beautiful pass, which led to the first goal of the game.

The Chargers would answer in the 10th minute with a goal of their own, tying the match at one a piece.

Henriksson wasn't done yet. In the 20th minute, Henriksson scored another goal, thanks to a setup from Luana Grabias, reclaiming the lead for NSU.

Alabama-Huntsville wouldn't back down, scoring a goal just before halftime, bringing the score to 2-2.

Correa joined the action, giving NSU a 3-2 lead with a goal in the 56th minute.

In the 60th minute, Suarez took it herself and fired a shot into the back of the net, adding to the Shark lead.
NSU would hold on and secure the 4-2 road victory over Alabama-Huntsville.
Coach Amy Vaughan – Great result. It's always tough to travel away in the region. We faced a lot of adversity in the first half, but the group stuck together and came away with a hard-fought win.
Nova Southeastern returns to action on Sunday in Montevallo, AL as they take on the University of Montevallo.
