MELBOURNE, Fla. - The Nova Southeastern women's basketball team keeps their winning streak alive, taking down Florida Tech on Saturday afternoon for their 10th consecutive victory. Morgan Kane spearheaded the Sharks, scoring a season-high 21 points.

First Half – The Sharks jumped out to an early 7-2 lead thanks to baskets from Kane and Zeyno Seren. Kane continued to impose her will offensively, scoring four of the last six points of the quarter for NSU as they held on to a 13-7 lead heading into the second quarter. Kailyn Terrell started the action with a jumper, extending the Sharks lead to eight points. The Panthers picked up the intensity offensively throughout the quarter, cutting NSU's lead to one before Scales knocked down a jumper to send the Sharks into the half with a three-point lead.
Second Half – A 6-0 run capped off by a three-pointer from India Shepherd extended the Sharks lead to 27-20. With 3:26 left in the quarter, a pair of free throws from Kane would give NSU an 11-point advantage, their biggest lead of the game. The Sharks would close out the quarter with back-to-back buckets as they headed to the final frame with a 10-point lead. Tenacious defense in the fourth quarter from Nova Southeastern secured the 56-46 victory over the Florida Tech Panthers.
