SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Men's Soccer team took down the Saint Lions 1-0 in an SSC battle on Saturday evening thanks to an early goal from Theo Oherwall.

• Theo Oherwall broke the tie early, scoring the first goal of the game in the 16th minute off of a beautiful pass by Kevin Rubaszewski. 

NSU's defense continued to pose problems for the Lions as they held them scoreless throughout the rest of the match and secured the 1-0 victory over SLU from the Saint Leo Soccer Field.   



Coach Matt McArthur - Delighted with the victory on the road against a good Saint Leo team. The boys worked extremely hard. Overall delighted with the three points.

Nova Southeastern will return home on Wednesday, October 9th at 7:00 pm as they take on the Barry Buccaneers in an SSC showdown.
