SAINT PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Nova Southeastern Sharks Volleyball team got back into the win column, sweeping the Eckerd Tritons in Sunshine State Conference action on Friday evening.
Taylor Stockman led the offense, recording nine kills and totaling 13 points, while
Brittany Landrum tallied nine blocks.

- NSU opened the match on a 4-1 run, receiving points from Taylor Stockman, Brittany Landrum and Elizabeth Price.
- After Eckerd tied the set at 4-4, NSU rallied for an 8-2 run, taking full control of the opening set,
- The Sharks closed a dominant opening frame on a 10-0 rally, taking the frame 25-9 over the Tritons.
- During the set winning run, Stockman, Landrum, and Kate Mihacevich all tallied points for the Sharks and NSU took advantage of several Eckerd errors.
- Trailing 12-6 in the second set, the quartert of Landrum, Stockman, Price and Marley Navaretta sparked an 8-2 run, tying the set at 14-14.
- After Eckerd rallied for three unanswered points, Stockman tallied back-to-back service aces and once again tied the frame at 17-17.
- The Sharks closed the frame, taking a 2-0 lead in the match, by winning the set 25-20 and finishing with yet another 8-2 run.
- Trailing 8-5, two consecutive aces by Price allowed the Sharks to tie the final frame at 8-8.
- Mihacevich sparked a 5-0 run by NSU, while Juliana Imbuzeiro, and Olivia Aniol added points, giving the Sharks a 13-9 lead.
- Nova Southeastern closed the match out with a 25-17 final set win, completing the sweep over the Tritons.
