How it Happened
Mount Olive took the lead in the second inning, as the Trojans capitalized on a bases loaded error by the Sharks. Michael Dillon minimized the damage and left the bases loaded, but NSU trailed 1-0.
The Trojans tacked on four more runs in the top of the third inning. Mount Olive plated runs on a bases loaded hit by pitch, a sacrifice fly and capped off the frame with a two-run single, taking a 5-0 lead.
In the bottom of the fourth inning, the first four Sharks to hit - Zeth Rodriguez, Justin Wachs, Kristian Noriega and Ariel Garcia - all reached base. Garcia plated a pair of runs on a bases loaded double down the right field line, which was followed by another two-run double by Henry Wallen
Mount Olive changed pitchers, for the second time in the inning, but that could not halt the Sharks momentum as Mario Lopez tied the game 5-5 with a RBI double.
The Trojans reclaimed the lead with a pair of runs in the top of the seventh inning, taking a 7-5 lead.
In the bottom of the ninth, and with the Sharks trailing 7-5, Justin Wachs hit a solo home run - his first of the season - but Nova Southeastern could not add more runs and dropped the contest 7-6.

What's Next
The Sharks will host Lander in a three-game series beginning with a doubleheader on Friday, February 16th, at the NSU Baseball Complex. First pitch is set for 4 p.m.
