#2 Sharks Beat Eckerd in SSC Action

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The second-ranked Nova Southeastern Sharks Women's Tennis team wrapped up their Sunshine State Conference regular season slate of games with a 6-1 victory over the Eckerd Tritons on Sunday afternoon.

Doubles
Natalie Espinal and Lian Benedejcic defeated Charravia and Cole, 6-0
Sofia Shing and Julia Moraes added a 6-2  victory over Misdorp and Soligo 
Patricie Kubikova and Ita Habekovic sealed the doubles sweep for NSU with a 6-0 win over Idiakez and Lindestaf

Singles
Alexandra Weir defeated Misdorp 6-4, 7-5
Lian Benedejcic was victorious over Lindestaf, winning 6-2, 6-1
Sofia Shing won versus Triska 6-1, 6-1
Ita Habekovic defeated Soligo 6-0, 6-2
Julia Moraes beat Idiakez 6-1, 6-3

Head Coach Doug Neagle - "This was our last regular season SSC match so it's nice to end on a high. We will enjoy this one tonight but then it's back to work tomorrow to prepare for a tough Flagler team on Tuesday."
