FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Nova Southeastern Sharks Baseball team won their fifth consecutive game, defeating the Lynn Fighting Knights 10-8 on Friday evening at the NSU Baseball Complex.
Zeth Rodriguez (3-3, HR) and Boris Pena (2-4, HR, 3 RBI) led the Sharks' offense in the Sunshine State Conference victory.

- The Sharks took an early 1-0 lead as Justin Wachs scored on a wild pitch.
- Lynn followed with a pair of runs in the top of the second inning, taking a 2-1 advantage over NSU
- NSU took advantage of a miscue by the Lynn defense, tying the game following an error.
- Boris Pena hit his team leading seventh home run of the season, putting the Sharks ahead 5-2 in the third inning.
- Later in the frame, Jorge Braceras came into score on another Lynn defensive mistake, extending NSU's advantage to 6-2.
- The Fighting Knights cut Nova Southeastern's lead to 6-4 following a two-run home run.
- Zeth Rodriguez added his sixth home run of the season, pushing NSU's lead to 8-4, in the bottom of the fifth inning.
- Wachs pushed the Sharks advantage to 8-4 with a sacrifice fly.
- Lynn scored three runs in the seventh inning, putting the score at 8-7.
- Tyson Cooper came up clutch with a two-run double, driving in both Ryan Cainzos and Rodriguez, giving NSU a 10-7 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning.
- Lynn scored one run in the top of the ninth, but Michael Dillon held on to earn his third save of the season and sealed NSU's fifth consecutive win.
