FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Nova Southeastern Sharks Baseball team completed their Sunshine State Conference series sweep over the Lynn Fighting Knights with a 4-2 victory at the NSU Baseball Complex on Sunday afternoon. The Sharks now hold sole possession of third place in the conference with two series left.

Bryan Loriga gave the Sharks the lead in the bottom of the first inning with a sacrifice fly that drove in Tyson Cooper.
Lynn tied the game with an RBI triple in the top of the third inning.
Loriga reclaimed the lead for NSU with a solo home run, giving the Sharks a 2-1 advantage.
Boris Pena hit his eighth home run of the season, extending NSU's lead to 3-1 in the bottom of the fourth inning.
Later in the frame, Zeth Rodriguez came into score, pushing the advantage to 4-1.
Lynn made the score 4-2, following a wild pitch, in the top of the fifth inning.
Frank Elissalt, Edwin Alicea and Keyler Gonzalez combined to throw four shutout innings in relief, as Carlos Nolasco earned his third win of the season.
