LOUISVILLE, KY.- Nova Southeastern Softball standout, Alyssa Drogemuller earned her second consecutive National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-American honor on Wednesday afternoon. Drogemuller tabbed a spot on the NFCA All-America Third Team after an NFCA All-America Second Team selection in 2023.
The NFCA All-America teams are voted on by the Association's All-America Committees. In Division II, the committee is comprised of one member head coach from each of the NCAA's eight regions. All student-athletes who were nominated by a member head coach and voted to the first- or second-team All-Region squads were eligible for All-America consideration.
Drogemuller continues to make waves this season, adding another accolade to her collection. The Mokena native led the league with 24 wins and ranked in the top 10 in the SSC in ERA (1.65), and batters struck out (83). Offensively, the senior broke the single season NSU walks record (39) while also ranking first on the team in batting average (.383). Drogemuller was named to the 2024 Tucci/NFCA Division II National Player and Pitcher of the Year Watchlist and earned an All-SSC First Team selection and a spot on the NFCA All-South Region First Team.
