ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Men's Soccer team ended Wednesday night's non-conference road matchup against the Eckerd Tritons in a 0-0 tie.

• Stellar defensive play from both teams kept the match scoreless through 30 minutes before Kevin Rubaszewski lasered a shot towards the net in the 33rd minute that was swiped away by the Tritons goalkeeper. 

• Eckerd came out aggressive offensively in the second half but the impressive goal-keeping play by Nikolas Ricardo kept the Tritons at bay. 

Both teams continued to try to break the deadlock, but the defense held up, ultimately resulting in a 0-0 tie between Nova Southeastern and Eckerd.

Nova Southeastern will be back in action on Wednesday, September 25th at 6:00 pm as they travel to Boca Raton, FL to open up conference play against the Lynn Fighting Knights.
