FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The 25th ranked Nova Southeastern men's soccer team took down the Rollins Tars on Saturday evening from the NSU Soccer Stadium behind goals from Santiago Hoyos Lopez and Toga Katsuma.

• Hoyos Lopez started the scoring action with a strike to the back of the net in the sixth minute (assisted by Matthew Gordon) to put give NSU the early 1-0 lead. 

• Katsuma tacked on the Sharks second goal of the game after a breaking away from the defense and sneaking one by the goal keeper.  

• The Tars finally got on the board with a late goal in the 75th minute but it wasn't enough to overcome the deficit as NSU secured the 2-1 SSC victory over Rollins.

NSU will head on the road to take on Panthers in another SSC showdown Wednesday, October 15th at 7:00 PM
